Whi...I hate the roller coaster ride of the NICU!!! While I only experienced it for a short while with Courtney, it seemed to me, that one ride up was only to follow with a deep plunge down and another slow crawl back up. Emotions swinging wildly each time. It has to be extremely difficult to do this with another child at home! All I can say is to hold her and touch her as much as you can. They have shown that your touch helps heal the little ones in the NICU almost as much as the drugs.
